Social networks
We could say that the world of social networks begins in the mid-1990s, in which users were recommended to create their web pages and install them in neighborhoods where they would have a relationship with users in the same neighborhood.
The first social network like the ones we have today was sixdegrees which is no longer accessible.
Over time, social networks evolved, creating in 2002 Friendster, a social network for video game lovers.
In 2003 Myspace, Linkedin and in 2004 a Harvard university student named Mark Zuckerberg created the social network that today is the most important in the world: Facebook.
In mid-2005, the legend tells that at a party in San Francisco, 3 Paypal workers recorded a video and had difficulty sending it to their friends. For this inconvenience, the idea of creating YouTube, the most important video social network today, arose.
2006 was a very important year in the history of the Internet because of the emergence of the Twitter microblogging social network and because Google finally bought YouTube for 1650 million dollars, now acting as one of its subsidiaries.
The Internet
Its origins date back to 1969, when the first computer connection, known as ARPANET, was established between three universities in California.
The WWW is a set of protocols that allows, in a simple way, the remote consultation of hypertext files. This was a further development and uses the Internet as a means of transmission.
Internet use grew rapidly in the Western Hemisphere since the mid-1990s; and between the end of the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s in the rest of the world. In the 20 years since 1995, the use of the Internet has multiplied by 100, covering in 2015 a third of the world's population.
Electronic commerce is another great result of these advances, and it has grown exponentially for large chains as well as for small and medium-sized companies or new entrepreneurs, since they can now sell products or services online to the world.

The Internet is a global information infrastructure, similar phrases that identify a group of projects that are driving a group of countries in order to achieve higher levels of economic, social and political development for their peoples.
In the Internet universe we also get among other things, how marketing and advertising are handled today.
